We are excited to bring the ASIO solution to the French market and introduce it to our customers” — Stefano VALENTINI, Chairman of DRONE VOLT

The agreement brings state of the art inspection drone technology to industrial asset owners in France
Lausanne, Switzerland, November 5th, 2021 — Flybotix, a leading Swiss drone technology maker in the indoor inspection industry, today announced an exciting new partnership with DRONE VOLT. DRONE VOLT is appointed distributor and service provider for Flybotix’ ASIO solution and will support customers looking for professional inspection drones in France.

Flybotix Announces DRONE VOLT as distribution Partner for ASIO Solution in the French Market

ASIO challenges the industry standard for flight time thanks to its innovative propulsion system that combines the simplicity of multi-rotors with the aerodynamic efficiency of helicopters. The result is an energy efficient, collision tolerant drone with twice the flight time of similar drones on the market and significantly less noise. It allows customers to quickly and safely inspect hazardous, confined spaces, typically in the infrastructure, energy, and oil and gas industries.

“We are excited to bring the ASIO solution to the French market and introduce it to our customers,” says Stefano VALENTINI – Chairman of DRONE VOLT. “This technology offers a great advantage by simplifying the inspection process using a compact drone, saving time and reducing the risk of human error. We are also confident that ASIO’s superior flight time will help to streamline and reduce the cost of the entire inspection project.”

Samir BOUABDALLAH, Co-Founder & CEO of Flybotix said: “France is a strategic country for us. Its vast infrastructure and construction industries include various industrial assets that require comprehensive and potentially hazardous inspections. We’re thrilled to be able to offer our new technology in France alongside training and product maintenance through our new partner DRONE VOLT.”

Flybotix is Mr. Bouabdallah’s second venture in the drone industry, having co-founded Skybotix which was acquired by GoPro. ASIO is the product of Swiss engineering and is manufactured in Switzerland using components from recognized brands such as maxon and Solvay. The product gets its name from the family of Asio owls who are characterized by their excellent night vision and large wing-span, much like the ASIO drone and its long propellers.
